Shiloh Staff
The Shiloh Staff is a dedicated team of individuals committed to creating a supportive and enriching christian environment for campers of all ages. They each bring unique skills and passions that contribute to the overall mission of camp. With a focus on God’s Word, discipleship, teamwork, and personal growth, the staff works tirelessly to ensure that each camper has a memorable and meaningful experience and most importantly that each camper hears the Word of God taught simply and in an interesting way. Their combined efforts foster a sense of community and safety, helping campers to build friendships, explore their interests, and develop leadership qualities while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of nature.
Shiloh Staff members are in-state missionaries. They do not receive a paycheck for the work they do. Feel free to reach out to them to support them in prayer or financially! You can also give to them below.
Meet the team:
Erin Vigari
Erin joined the Shiloh Crew in January of 2023. She moved here all the way from South Carolina! She serves as both the Kitchen Director and the Registrar here at camp and we’d be lost without her. She is a bi-vocational missionary. She lives off-site and travels to camp to serve. She is financially supported both as a missionary, through donations, and through a part-time job. Erin enjoys spending time with people and watching Gilmore Girls. Don’t let her ask you about electricity- you’ll regret it, and her favorite verse is not really Proverbs 7:11. She is fun-loving and never fails to light up the room when she walks into it. She is an amazing cook and works hard to make sure we never go hungry. Her easy going nature makes everyone feel comfortable right away and I don’t think she has ever met a stranger... Erin brings flexibility and problem solving skills to the Shiloh Team. We are thankful for her.
Erin’s favorite verse is Proverbs 16:4a. When asked to describe her, the staff said she is exuberant, genuine, vibrant, playful, fun, kind, generous in spirit
Registrar
Enoch & Olivia Newkirk
Interim Director & Guest Group Coordinator
These two have been around Shiloh for years now. Enoch fell in love with Shiloh and Olivia about the same time... (Olivia was raised at camp in the house across the road.) They have dabbled in every area of camp; cabin leading, CIT directing, cooking, and LOTS of cleaning. They are enjoying the privilege of serving our Savior daily in this amazing ministry. They have been married for 10+ years, have two babies in heaven, and have a crazy little dog named Goose. They both really enjoy board games, movies/TV Shows and quality time. Olivia has a hard time turning down a good debate with lots of searching the scriptures for answers while Enoch enjoys a nice quiet round of disc golf (preferably with no debating involved…) or maybe a good old fashioned hymn sing. Their ministry and calling as a couple is to serve God through loving young people and showing them how much value they each bring to the table. They love discipleship and want to challenge the Church of tomorrow to stand on their own two feet.
Enoch’s favorite verse is Romans 1:16.
When asked to describe him, the staff said he is thoughtful, peaceful, steady, meek, gentle, a teacher, a leader, a servant
Olivia’s favorite verse is Psalm 27:13-14. When asked to describe her, the staff said she is comforting, hospitable, cheerful, compassionate, flexible, (has) knowledge, glue, curious, seeker of truth, steadfast
Nate & Eleasah Hahn
These two are the newest additions to the Shiloh Staff Team! Nate and Ele (pronounced Ellie) moved to camp in January of 2025, not too long after their December of 2024 wedding. Nate has joined as the Maintenance Director, and Ele, is doing whatever is needed around camp. They’ve served at camp in the past; volunteering their time as cabin leaders and off season maintenance help. It was pretty early into their relationship that they recognized nudges from the Holy Spirit to consider serving Him full-time. We are so thankful that they listened! They are both skilled workers but we have noticed even more that they are true servants. They willingly take on any task with humility and joy. They love cooking, eating good food, playing volleyball, sharing Jesus, and being with people! (We aren’t kidding about that last point. They are the most extroverted extroverts we have ever met!) They are- and I quote- “so so excited to get to be part of the staff team that serves year round!”.
Nate’s favorite verse is Psalm 57:7-8. When asked to describe him, the staff said he is servant, joyful, energetic, dedicated, studious, creative, diligent, hardworking, self-initiating
Ele’s favorite verse is Psalm 34:8. When asked to describe her, the staff said she is joyful, enthusiastic! easy-going, casual, eager to serve, a learner, self-initiating, open
Maintenance Director & Do-er of All the Things!
Val Peters
Bookkeeper
Val has been helping part-time at Shiloh since 2017. She helps in literally every area around camp, with a focus in the office. (Someone’s gotta keep us organized!) She is a retired corrections officer of 26 years. She has 27 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family. Val is not only a servant but a true student of the Word of God. She is an active member of her church and hosts two ladies bible studies in her home each week. She lives off-site and travels in to help on certain days of the week. If Val ever misses a week, we just assume it’s because of a grandkids' wedding. She likes to have/know a clear plan but is good at going with the crazy flow that can make up camp life sometimes! She is thankful for the ways God has continued to use her in spite of her age. Val brings an abundance of wisdom and grace to the Shiloh Team.
Val’s favorite verse is Numbers 23:19. When asked to describe her, the staff said she is wise, organized, structured, discerning
